Our Story
Jamal Miller
Jamal Miller is a connector, strategist, and cultural bridge-builder. Raised by a mother married to a Kenyan and a frequent traveler to Kenya since 2015, Jamal offers a rare blend of insider knowledge and cross-cultural fluency. Since 2021, he has maintained dual residences in the U.S. and Kenya, giving him firsthand insight into the lifestyle and logistics of both worlds.

A seasoned professional in government relations, Jamal brings over 25 years of experience working with state and local governments, alongside a national network of elected officials and minority business leaders. His work with the Prince George’s County Minority Business Opportunities Commission (MBOC) and 100 Black Men of Prince George’s County reflects his deep commitment to economic empowerment and entrepreneurship.

Erika R. Miller
Erika Miller is a strategic thinker, operational expert, and master of execution. With over 30 years in the health insurance industry, Erika has led high-performing compliance teams, overseen complex system implementations, and improved outcomes through streamlined processes and cross-functional collaboration. Her extensive executive network—particularly across the Philadelphia metropolitan region—positions her as a natural connector across sectors and continents.

In 2023, Erika and Jamal hosted a U.S.–Kenya trade mission that brought 25 investors and policymakers to Nairobi. The event, which included a business reception with the U.S. Ambassador, became a turning point. Inspired by Kenya’s vibrancy and potential, the Millers relocated to Mombasa with their daughter and have since made it their mission to elevate the African travel experience for global travelers.
